Health and Safety as we know it in today's construction industry once wasn't as prevalent.  Craig King initiated CF King Contracting Ltd's systems in the late 1990's.  With the help of experienced consultant John McLeay from Summit Systems, the company's Health and Safety, Quality Assurance & Environmental Systems were implemented.  Government ACC audits were introduced as initiatives for company's to save on payments if they could produce information and documentation backing up their promotion of Health and Safety in the work place.  If you meet certain criteria you gain accreditation to the next level.  When Nathaniel King joined the company in 2002 he set about working toward achieving the highest level for a company and structure of this size.  The next 2 yearly audit came in June 2004, where the Tertiary Level was met and repeatedly met every 2 years since.

Accident prevention and safety is paramount in any industry.  CF King Contracting Ltd believes it is a leader in the Brick and Block laying sector.
